Good evening! It’s a nice night to be outside, but it’s not going to last. Welcome to your PM forecast for Thursday, October 4, 2012.
TONIGHT: As we go through the night, the clouds will be on the increase. Lows tonight are expected to be around 55 or so.
FRIDAY-SATURDAY NIGHT: Friday morning looks dry, but the afternoon appears to be when rain showers start at this point in time. Highs will be around 74. Friday night’s football games look very soggy. 😦 Saturday, we might dodge the rain bullet, but I won’t say that for sure, so I’ll leave the chance there. Temperatures end up around 57 Saturday, with lows in the upper 40’s Saturday morning.
SUNDAY: I still have a rain chance in on Sunday. I think that’s mainly in the morning, and it’s 30 to 40 percent at best. The bad news is, I’ve adjusted highs on Sunday DOWNWARD. I think we’re looking at 52, and that might be a morning high temperature — as there’s some indication we may actually slide into the 40’s in the afternoon for the Bengals/Dolphins game, which will feel quite raw, and if that occurs, I can’t rule out wind chills dipping to the upper 30’s! BRRRRRRR.
MONDAY-WEDNESDAY: We’ll hit 58 on Monday under partly cloudy skies. Lows Monday will fall near the freezing mark of 32 degrees, so frost would be VERY widespread. I hear farmers scrambling for their frost protection gear. Into Tuesday and Wednesday, we do start to warm things up with highs in the 60’s. Tuesday morning could be a frosty one again, but then Wednesday morning, the frost threat is much less with lows in the 40’s.
SOCIAL MEDIA: Follow along as I watch our skies and occasionally our roads:
NEXT DISCUSSION: The next update will be up by 5:30 AM Friday (I have an early doctor’s appointment). Until then, have a great night!
