Monday 10/15 Discussion: Clearing Out and Cooler

We dodged another severe weather bullet…welcome to your Monday morning forecast for October 15, 2012!

TODAY: We’re back to dry conditions and highs around 62 this afternoon, after starting with lows near 50.

TUESDAY: Tuesday looks dry, with highs around 64. Lows tonight and Tuesday night will be around 48.

WEDNESDAY: As we head into Wednesday, a complex, multi-part storm will move east towards our area. Highs will be in the low to middle 70’s. We are concerned that the timing of a cold front with this will be such as to spark storms, and potentially severe weather. Stay tuned.

THURSDAY-SATURDAY: That complex situation continues through this period. At this point, I continue to believe there’ll be a rain chance through this period, with an upper low in play especially Friday and Saturday. Highs will be in the 50’s with lows between 36 and 43.

SUNDAY: We finally dry out, but we don’t warm up much. Highs will be in the middle 50’s.

SOCIAL MEDIA: Follow along as I watch our skies and, as warranted, our streets:
