Wednesday felt great with highs close to 80! What can we expect for Friday eve? Welcome to your Thursday morning forecast for October 25, 2012.
TODAY: Today looks pretty good with sunny skies and highs close to 80. The record high is 82 set in 1963…and we might make a run at it. Alas, this is the end of the warmth for the foreseeable future.
FRIDAY-SATURDAY: This forecast has changed SIGNIFICANTLY, so pay attention! The front has sped up quite a bit. Therefore, Friday afternoon looks rather wet. The big story on this one will be the temperatures and this is the other major change. Because the front will come through tomorrow morning, what starts off as a morning that feels nice, will turn into a chilly, raw afternoon with temperatures actually doing a nosedive to near 50 by late day. We’ll plummet to the lower 40’s Friday night and then struggle to recover to near 55 Saturday afternoon, with some rain around throughout this period.
SUNDAY-MONDAY: I have us dry, but chilly still. We’ll be lucky to see 52 both days, with lows in the middle 30’s.
NOTE: I’m truncating this discussion here. Tuesday and Wednesday forecasts will be covered in a separate, longer term discussion around 7-8 AM. Stay tuned for that.

NEXT UPDATE: There will be three more updates today. Two of those will be discussions of the long-term situation, before 9 AM and before 5 PM. The “normal” discussion will be around 6 PM. Have a great day and take care!
