After another morning in the 20’s, a slow warmup is coming! Welcome to your morning update for Friday, November 16, 2012…
TODAY/TONIGHT: Look for a day similar to the last two. Highs will be near 50. Tonight’s lows will be around 30 under clear skies. Why am I not going warmer? Simply put, winds will be light and skies will stay clear. That allows good radiational cooling which allows temperatures to fall.
SATURDAY-MONDAY: Looking dry still, as we’ll remain on the backside of high pressure. Temperatures should be back into the lower 50’s for tomorrow and then by Monday we’ll be back to near 60. Lows through this period will slowly rise to the middle 30’s.
TUESDAY: A quick little disturbance will swing through with a small rain chance. Highs will reach 57, with lows Tuesday night around 38.
WEDNESDAY: It will be a decent day by mid-November standards with highs around 56.
THANKSGIVING: I know many of you probably have plans to be out and about. I’ll give you a national forecast next week for Thanksgiving travel — for now expect highs near 60 here in Cincinnati. Lows will be near 40.
