Monday was so nice there. I hope you took an opportunity to enjoy highs in the lower 70’s. We don’t get that often in December in Cincinnati!
Here’s the forecast for Tuesday morning, December 4, 2012!
TODAY: Rather wet. A cold front will cross our area today. This front will be responsible for firing off showers and maybe a couple of thunderstorms. I DO NOT expect any severe weather with this (the ingredients just aren’t in place), but you might hear a rumble of thunder or two. The temperature forecast has been tricky to pin down all weekend. I think our highs will be around 63.
WEDNESDAY: We should be dry with partly sunny skies. After a low around 35, we’ll struggle to reach 45.
THURSDAY: We’ll be back in the low 50’s under partly cloudy skies…I will go 51. This will also be our coldest morning of the next six or seven…lows Thursday morning may end up around 30.
FRIDAY-MONDAY: Each model run seems to get worse for us in terms of how many days in a row we will see rain. It now appears that the entire weekend will have a chance at rain as waves of low pressure ride up a front that will stall near here. However…it also doesn’t appear quite as chilly. Highs will slowly rise from lower 50’s on Friday to the low 60’s by the time we reach Monday. Lows will probably end up in the upper 40’s to low 50’s. I should point out that the GFS has a look to the Monday wave that, if it panned out, *could* see severe weather slam the area early next week, with a big wintry mess behind it. Watch the trends on that one, folks.
