It was a wet Tuesday around here, and after a two day break, we’ll be unsettled again. Welcome to your Wednesday morning forecast for December 5, 2012!
TODAY: We should be dry with sunny skies. After lows around 38, we’ll struggle to reach 45.
TONIGHT: Expect clear skies. With good radiational cooling, lows will fall to around 30!
THURSDAY: We’ll be back in the low 50’s under partly cloudy skies…I will go 51.
FRIDAY-MONDAY: Each model run seems to get worse for us in terms of how many days in a row we will see rain. It now appears that the entire weekend will have a chance at rain as waves of low pressure ride up a front that will stall near here. However…it also doesn’t appear quite as chilly. Highs will slowly rise from lower 50’s on Friday to near 60 by the time we reach Sunday and Monday. Lows will probably end up in the 40’s to low 50’s. We talked about the Monday wave yesterday…the latest models (Euro, GFS, and the Canadian) all have it tracking fairly close to us. Monday night and Tuesday could get quite interesting.
