TODAY: We will be partly to mostly cloudy this morning but dry. Showers will then move in from the south and west this afternoon, with a high around 50. I am going to watch for the possibility of some heavy rain today and tonight, which may also cause problems this weekend. Tonight, we will not drop the temperature too far, only to around 45 — and that may end up low, I wouldn’t be shocked to see us hold closer to 50!
FRIDAY: It now looks like we will be rainy around the area for a good part of the day, with highs nearing 60 as today’s system looks to slow WAY down getting out of here. Heading into Friday night, it’ll almost feel springlike with a low down to 52!
THIS WEEKEND AND MONDAY: Another front crashes in this weekend with a continuing chance of rain. Saturday morning may be a dry one, but I look for the rain chances to ramp up again beginning late Saturday afternoon and continuing through the rest of the weekend. There may be periods of locally heavy rainfall especially Saturday night. The QPF in the latest models in the 48 hour period through 7 PM Monday suggest around 2″. Flash flood guidance currently is around 3.5″ in 24 hours, so while flash flooding isn’t currently expected, the small streams may be worth monitoring for a bit of a rise from Saturday night through Monday. There might even be some rumbles of thunder in the Saturday night or early Sunday timeframe! Saturday may just be the peak day of the warmup — how about a high of 64?? Sunday will see a cool down with a high back into the lower 50’s. Finally, all of the rain exits by Monday night, but not before possibly mixing in some snow showers. Highs on Monday will be near 40. So, plan some indoor activities this weekend!
TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY: We finally get everything out of here but it turns cold again with highs to only 38 both days and lows near 30.
