TODAY: Today looks decent with a high of 40 under partly cloudy skies, and then lows tonight fall to around 29.
SATURDAY: The latest guidance suggests I need to nudge highs on Saturday upward a bit, so we’ll go with 50 degrees under partly cloudy skies. Lows Saturday night fall to 28.
SUNDAY: Models do show a sharp cooldown on Sunday, but nothing significant precipitation-wise. I will roll with a high of 33 (I believe the NAM guidance may be a few degrees too warm) and a low Sunday night around 18. Remember this number as we hit Tuesday.
MONDAY: I’m still thinking we may have a few snow showers around Monday. Highs will barely make 25. Lows on Monday night fall into the SINGLE DIGITS. Ouch!!!
TUESDAY: If Monday was an “ouch”, Tuesday is even more so. How about a high of just 18 under partly cloudy skies? That’s right…the low on Sunday night will be the HIGH on Tuesday. Any kind of significant wind would send wind chills into the single digits, maybe even below zero in the morning. Ouch again!
WEDNESDAY: Not a lot better. Look for highs in the middle 20’s after beginning around 10 again. Once more, wind chills in the morning could be below zero pending the wind.
THURSDAY: A nice recovery, although I’m not buying a full fledged return to the 40’s and certainly not the 43 that the guidance suggests just yet. I will go with 37, as a warm front should cross the area, bringing warmer air and a small chance of rain.
