TODAY: I’m going to slowly raise temperatures the rest of this week, starting with highs of 35 for today. The problem is, there is a stubborn cloud deck over much of southwest Ohio. That may affect temperatures somewhat in that area. There’s a sharp cutoff to the clouds over parts of NKY and Southern Indiana, and so I wouldn’t be surprised to see a forecast bust in EITHER direction on temperatures!
THURSDAY/FRIDAY: For tomorrow, expect lows near 23 and highs around 38. Friday lows will be in the middle 20’s and highs finally reach the lower 40’s. As for sky conditions, most of tomorrow we are okay. Tomorrow night, models have another system moving in and it should be rain maybe mixing with snow. That gets out of here Friday midday, and I think we’ll be clearing out by the end of the day. Now…if you’re heading north, you *might* see an inch of snow on the backside as you go into parts of West-Central Ohio. Don’t expect much — and it tapers down rapidly from there south.
SATURDAY: Expect dry, partly cloudy conditions, and I do think highs crack 40 after beginning around 27. I have to adjust downward ever so slightly owing to there still being some cold air advection around.
SUNDAY/MONDAY: This is when the next system rolls in, and it currently looks somewhat rainy starting late Sunday afternoon but more so Sunday night into Monday. I still have a high around 50 with lows around 35, as warm air advection commences ahead of this storm.
