TODAY: Expect dry, partly cloudy conditions, and I think highs reach 41 today. We then fall off to only around 30 tonight.
SUNDAY/MONDAY: This is when the next system rolls in, and it currently looks somewhat rainy starting late tomorrow afternoon but more so tomorrow night into early on Monday morning. I think your Sunday morning is likely dry, and Monday afternoon looks okay. I have a high around 52 both days with lows around 40 Sunday night, as significant warm air advection commences ahead of this.
TUESDAY: Expect a dry, mostly sunny day with highs around 42 and lows Tuesday night in the middle 20’s.
WEDNESDAY: As it stands right now, we look sunny with a high around 45. We had rain in the forecast BUT the latest computer models are keeping those chances well south and east of the area. Lows Wednesday night should be around 23.
THURSDAY/FRIDAY: I know many folks will have Thursday evening plans focused on their significant other (my fiancée and I are celebrating this weekend instead, as we rarely get an opportunity during the workweek). I expect dry skies and highs in the middle 40’s with evening temperatures in the high 30’s. Friday also looks dry and partly cloudy with those same highs in the middle 40’s after lows Thursday night around 25.
NORTHEASTERN TRAVEL NOTE: I would be remiss if I didn’t bring this up. If you were going to New England or NYC this weekend, forget about it. As much as 2 and a half feet of snow are expected in parts of New England with BLIZZARD CONDITIONS. Airports are shut down, and you can’t even legally travel on roads in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts right now anyway, because the governors of all three states have issued travel bans (which are similar to the county-declared level 3 Snow Emergencies used here). Just don’t try to get there today or tomorrow.

NEXT UPDATE: Your next blog update will be tomorrow (as I take the rest of today off to spend time with my lovely fiancee). Until then, have a great weekend and take care!
