Monday 2/11 Morning Forecast: A Dry Week, Cooling This Weekend!

TODAY: I still can’t rule out a shower or two this morning to the east of town (folks from the city of Cincinnati west should definitively be dry), but think your Monday afternoon looks partly cloudy areawide. We will see a high around 50 today and lows tonight in the middle 20’s. There will be a wind concern. Winds later this morning into the afternoon will be sustained at 15 to 25 and may gust as high as 40 mph.

TUESDAY: Expect a dry, mostly sunny day with highs around 42 and lows Tuesday night in the middle 20’s.

WEDNESDAY: As it stands right now, we look partly cloudy with a high around 45. The latest computer models are still keeping the best chances of precipitation well south and east of the area, BUT I cannot rule out a rain chance in the afternoon. Lows Wednesday night should be around 23.

THURSDAY/FRIDAY: I know many folks will have Thursday evening plans focused on their significant other for Valentine’s Day. I expect dry skies and highs in the middle 40’s with evening temperatures in the high 30’s for you and your sweetheart (I celebrated with mine early, over the weekend). Friday should stay mainly dry and partly cloudy with temperatures in the lower 40’s after lows Thursday night around 25.

SATURDAY/SUNDAY: Early indications try to bring some snow flurries with highs in the upper 20’s to lower 30’s and lows possibly in the upper teens.
