TODAY: Expect a dry, mostly sunny day with highs around 42. Tonight we fall only to 30, as clouds will increase in the overnight period.
WEDNESDAY: We now need to introduce rain and snow chances for anyone from I-71 south and east. If you live in Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, or Union counties, you might just escape this and stay dry and partly cloudy. For folks in Maysville, West Union, Georgetown, Vanceburg, & Mt Olivet…you’ll be rather wet. Metro Cincinnati will be somewhere in between. I also can’t rule out starting this with some snowflakes in the morning before a quick change to all rain. Highs will range from the lower to middle 40’s. Lows Wednesday night should be around 30.
THURSDAY/FRIDAY: I know many folks will have Thursday evening plans focused on their significant other for Valentine’s Day. I expect dry skies and highs in the middle 40’s with evening temperatures in the high 30’s for your dinner plans. Friday should stay mainly dry and partly cloudy with temperatures in the lower 40’s after lows Thursday night around 25.
SATURDAY/SUNDAY: I still think we could see snow flurries off a northwest lake fetch, but otherwise we will be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 20’s to middle 30’s and lows possibly in the upper teens. I see nothing indicating a major storm late week.
