Wednesday 2/13 Forecast: Wet Day For Most Areas

TODAY: There will be rain and maybe some snow affecting most of the area today. About a half inch of snow could accumulate today for areas from around Georgetown and Brooksville southeastward. Don’t expect much. Highs will end up in the lower 40’s. I’m adjusting down a few degrees just in case. Lows Wednesday night should be around 30.

THURSDAY/FRIDAY: I know many folks will have evening plans focused on their significant other for Valentine’s Day tomorrow. I expect dry skies and highs in the middle 40’s with evening temperatures in the high 30’s for your dinner plans. Friday should stay partly cloudy with temperatures in the lower 40’s after lows Thursday night around 25. I think we have to throw in a chance of snow showers on Friday, as well.

SATURDAY/SUNDAY: I still think we could see snow flurries off a northwest lake fetch, but otherwise we will be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 20’s to middle 30’s and lows in the upper teens to lower 20’s.

MONDAY/TUESDAY: The next storm will move in by this time. As things stand, this will be another “rain to snow” scenario. Highs will be in the lower 40’s and lows end up in the upper 20’s.
