WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY 8 PM Tonight to 10 AM Friday for all counties served by the NWS in Wilmington.
TODAY: I expect dry conditions but increasing clouds. Highs will make it to 36.
TONIGHT-FRIDAY: The evening hours will be mostly dry, but then precipitation moves in late in the form of freezing rain. This will change over to rain tomorrow morning. It looks like a tenth to two tenths of an inch of ice will be possible before the changeover after sunrise. Lows will be around 30. Friday, as warm air streams in, we could push 50.
THIS WEEKEND: We look partly cloudy with lows in the 20’s to lower 30’s and highs in the middle to upper 40’s.
MONDAY-WEDNESDAY: Looks like a bit of a rain chance Monday and Tuesday with highs around 53 on Monday, dropping to 38 Tuesday morning and then making it back to around 45 Tuesday. This changes to a chance of snow showers Tuesday night and Wednesday, with lows in the upper 20’s and highs around 44 Wednesday.
